Winners of the world’s largest electric power held in Mexico

Photoemeris Sustentable, one of the PV projects presented by Alter Enersun is the winner, along with 17 further projects of the Mexican government’s first long-term electricity auction, organized by the National Center for Energy Control (CENACE) of Mexico.

The list of bidders was made up of leading international companies of the sector.

The 73% of the succesfully projects are solar energy plants, while the rest has been wind energy plants. This result consolidates the photovoltaic technology as the most competitive renewable source at the moment.

The project is located in the state of Yucatan and it will produce 58.6 GWh/year.
The start up is scheduled in October 2017.
